Email and SMS Reminders to Vote


Reminders to vote in person


Voters receive the following notifications via email and SMS when they plan to vote in-person:

Reminders to vote by mail:


Voters receive a more complicated flow of communication when voting by mail. 

We’ve updated our reminders to use dates by which ballots must be postmarked or dropped off and deadlines to request a ballot as the base dates instead of election day. 

With this new data, we will send reminders to request ballots, to check on those requests, and to submit your ballot to the county in any number of a variety of ways:

Additional Email and SMS Reminders for Election Center

When voters visit an election center, they'll enter their email and receive reminders to return to the election center. In addition to these election-center-specific reminders, voters will also receive any communication from the services they use in your election center. They will receive the following notifications via both email and sms after signing up through an election center:
